Welcome to the 2nd Annual Morrissey Blvd Benefit Concert for the Immigrants' Assistance Center in New Bedford, MA.
All proceeds go towards programs that give immigrant students in New Bedford the support they need to complete their education.
Last year this event sold out! Over 400 people attended, with 17 corporate sponsors, 12 partner organizations and $26,000 raised. Ticket prices are being kept low so everyone can participate -- you can bring a family (of up to 6) for only $20. For those who can contribute above the ticket price, we welcome your donation! Also, thank you in advance for helping us with processing fees on each ticket purchase.
Since last year, the immigration crisis in our country has only gotten more intense, with more families facing fear and uncertainty than ever before. The struggle that local immigrant kids face in trying to stay focused on their studies while their families are threatened with tremendous instability is deeply troubling to the members of Morrissey Blvd. Perhaps you feel concerned, too.
This is a fun, non-political, family-friendly event, focused on music and the theme of kids helping kids. Included in your ticket price is hot dogs and ice cream for kiddos. You can also purchase food and drink during the show.
